Whilst we are able to carry out the majority of repairs for you it is important for you to advise us when you feel/hear something might be failing as soon as possible. Generally speaking, the sooner you tell us, the cheaper the repair. The longer a damaged componant is

ignored the more strain is placed on other areas of the vehicle, causing premature failure of other parts. 

The majority of 'general maintenance' work is safety focused too. Brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, these are all majorly important setup's designed to keep you in control of your vehicle in any siltation. Whether that would be calmly driving around town, driving in poor weather conditions or having to do an emergancy stop. Ignoring a worn tyre, brake pad or ball joint (for example) can draastically affect your vehicle's handling and stopping capabilities.

MOT's are in force to have these components checked however 12 months is a long time to go without an inspection, Especially when you think about the condition of our roads, the mileage we cover in that time and the ever changing weather conditions. MOT advisories are often left to progress to failure 12 months later, why not catch it before failure? Before endangering damage to the vehicle.... or worse!
